Pod Studios is the creative hub
for Port Phillip, Glen Eira, Stonnington, Bayside and Kingston areas.
Pod Studios is the home studio for several professional photographers, graphic artists, small scale videographers and casting agencies who require a full production studio to call 'home' but only need to meet their clients and create their productions on a casual use basis.
Pod Studios is a ground floor studio facility which is courier and wheelchair friendly.
The studio faces the Stanley Street car park (off Orrong road) and has its own goods landing area beside the service lane.
Opened in July 2011, pod is the lovechild of rob skovell photography, however this studio is a stand alone facility with no reference to rob's business.
Therefore - as far as your clients are concerned pod studios is just that,
an autonomous production studio.
The studio has three main shooting areas all designed to create stunning results.
Studio area 1: is a 1/2 cyc wall with independent lighting rigs to customise this wall separately from your subjects.
Studio area 2: is a very large 'rust' wall with two textures ideal for portraits, products etc.
Studio area 3: is a large 'blue lime wash' wall ideal for corporate portraits.
The conference area can be easily set up for group meetings of up to 12 people.
Clients can access the studios audio visual equipment including a very large projector screen, from any apple product and vga enabled devise. And the wifi internet is accessible too.
This conference area can be light sealed to prevent any daylight from entering the projection screen and is absolutely ideal for portrait selling sessions providing a comfortable working space for you and your clients.
This same area is often used by clients as a separate studio space independent from the production space.
Model casting agencies use these spaces in the production of their annual look-books.
